This one of the hardest concepts to understand. You see, understanding it is a critical component of the process of being part of the Foundational Black American (FBA) lineage. I am thoroughly convinced that we, FBAs, as a people, are built for the pressure that this society places upon us. Let me say that again: we are built for this! No other group has exhibited this raw toughness in the face of unrelenting societal barbarism. In other words, we are a unique people.

When we embrace the fact that we are a unique people we will finally move ahead…exponentially. it is imperative that we make this mental transition as quickly as possible.
The Mental Transition Has Begun
If you haven’t notice, let me tell you: this mental transition is taking place right before our eyes. It has been a long time coming, but it is unfolding as I am writing this article. In order for the mental transition to take place, we first must transition spiritually – and that is happening in real time. I am talking about the FBA “delineation” movement. Finally, for once, we are standing up before the entire world to formally announce the fact of our uniqueness as a separate people in America, in the Diaspora, and within the larger African population.
Spiritual Alignment
FBA delineation spiritual alignment with the guidance of the Ancestors. Initially, I tried to wrap my head around just what was happening to us, as a people, as this movement was unfolding.
(Let me pause here to ensure everyone understands that FBA is NOT a movement; it is a lineage. FBA delineation is the movement. This distinction is critical to understanding what is taking place today.)
I must admit that I was feeling something moving in my soul, but I could not place my finger on it until someone mentioned in a YouTube video that what we were undergoing as a people was something more than simple unease. Rather, it was a spiritual awakening. That hit me harder than a ton of bricks. It resonated with my soul. I knew it was so true. That statement summed all that I knew was happening to us – we were coming into our own as a people – much like a baby taking his/her first steps. It was wobbly at first then we leaned forward into our new reality, and we have been running ever since.
What has been the results up to this point: we have begun to understand that the pressure we have been under for all this time was just privilege wrapped in a different societal garment. Let us embrace this moment in our history and really see it for what it truly is: Pressure is Simply “Privilege” By Another Name.
